I have 3 songs that i considder adding to the contest, but i think i'll deel with just 1.
Falling From Hevin.
This is 1 of 3 versions of Falling from Hevin, in which all 3 of us band members in my band wrote.
This is my version. and since nothing's been done with it, i decided to enter this song in to the contest.
This version is about some one who's found a girl and they both fall in love with eachother.
Falling from Heaven.

As I stand on the corner.
She was standing right there.
A young girl who’s so pretty.
With sun shine in her hair.

This song is called Armageddon. I wrote it over a year ago, and it's a crowd favourite at most of our gigs.
This is much darker than the first one.
For a long time now, I’ve been very interested in the time of the Black Death epidemic of 1347 to 50 and other break outs in following centuries till 1665. during those times, the population had suffered a huge loss of life from these out breaks. In the first epidemic of Europe alone, 20000000 people had died.
I have had the idea of writing a song about the black death, but I didn’t do anything about it until October 2006, when I started writing the lyrics out. I was determined to look at certain societies like the democracy, general population, the church, and business that were effected by this fatal tragedy. However there were certain things like the Jews being punished for crimes they didn’t commit, or how the pope survived the outbreak but the king of England’s daughter didn’t, that I would have to leave out.
Armageddon.
Verse 1.
The plague has swept across the land, claming the lives of most.
Family’s dead, Friends in mourning, cities full of ghosts.
The horseman of the apocalypse, will strike down those at will.
Creditors will be liquidised, for no one can pay their bills.
Verse 2.
The smell of death is in the air, fear spreads like wild fire.
Remedies fail in time of need, death tole is rising higher.
So many people die every day, though a hand full still survive.
Survivors hide from the infected , in fear for their own lives.
Verse 3.
The priests are praying for redemption, but praying’s a useless cure.
Religion is no true protector, the truth is simple and pure.
The people never give up hope, though their futures do look bleak.
Deliverance from their evil ways, and redemption do they seek.
Verse 4.
people whip themselves in city streets, in hope for deliverance at last.
But what they do not realise, they spread the plague too fast.
Plague pits are everywhere, where the rotting corpses stank.
From Kings and queens to peasant folk, the pestilents knows no rank.
Verse 5.
The pits remain to this very day, though the dead are now long gone.
This tragedy is in the past now, and that’s where it belongs.
Those are times of tragedy, that we could not forget.
Now a days we have medicines, to protect against this threat.

I'm not going to enter the 3rd song, cause it's got offensive language and you said no offensive language in your preceeding poasts.

Oh and i venture to add, I know the plague hit everywhere as well as europe, but i'm basing the song in europe to give it an exact location.

This is a song about someone's lover and her fight to save them but failing. note, the next few songs are rather dark. they aren't very long but I like them.
